A useful part starts with a problem worth solving. That idea built KMRNL’s rifle accessory lineup, and it is also behind our growing Farm & Ranch range.
In our rebrand announcement, we talked about building a broader engineering and manufacturing company in Davenport, Washington. Agriculture is one place where that direction is taking shape. Our current poultry products show what we mean: parts designed around a specific task, with a clear reason for every feature.
Small problems deserve thoughtful designs
Not every improvement needs to be a large piece of equipment. Sometimes the useful addition is a compact perch that fits a small pen. Sometimes it is a removable divider that makes an existing incubator easier to organize.
Those are the kinds of projects we want to keep building. We look at the space available, how the part will be handled, and what needs to remain accessible around it. The finished design has to make sense in the equipment where it will actually be used.
Meet the KMRNL MiniPerch

The MiniPerch is a small roosting bar designed for baby chicks and quail. Three natural wood dowels fit into black polymer end frames, creating a portable unit for brooders, small pens, and temporary setups.
It measures 7¼ inches wide, 7½ inches deep, and 4 inches tall. The dowels press into place without tools, and the open frame leaves the area underneath accessible for cleaning. It is sized for young birds; larger poultry may need a larger roost.
There is a practical design choice here: use wood where the birds perch, and manufacture the end frames around the spacing and footprint the product needs. Each material has a job.
Keeping incubator egg groups organized

Our four-section egg divider addresses a different task: keeping groups of eggs identifiable inside a Little Giant Deluxe incubator.
Its interlocking panels create four areas for organizing eggs by breed, breeding group, or another identification system. Honeycomb openings leave paths for air movement between sections. The assembly drops in and can be removed without permanently modifying the incubator.
This is a model-specific accessory. Check the product photographs against your incubator, including the two-window lid and center-mounted fan and heating assembly. The divider organizes the space; it does not control temperature, humidity, or egg turning. Follow the incubator manufacturer’s directions and verify conditions throughout the chamber after installation.
The same engineering approach, a different job
A poultry accessory and a rifle accessory serve very different purposes, but the design process shares a familiar starting point: understand the equipment and the problem before deciding what to build.
We use precision additive manufacturing to make parts with geometry tailored to those jobs. Keeping design and production close together lets us evaluate fit, revise a component, and work toward a useful finished product. The MiniPerch and egg divider are designed, prototyped, manufactured, assembled, and inspected in Davenport, Washington.
Our firearm accessories remain part of KMRNL. Farm and ranch products extend the same practical approach into another part of everyday work.
What problem would you like us to tackle?
If there is a bracket, holder, organizer, or equipment part you wish existed, tell us about it. Include the equipment make and model, what you need the part to do, and a few clear photos or measurements. That gives us a starting point for discussing whether a custom solution makes sense.
