KMRNL is an engineering and manufacturing company focused on functional parts, firearm accessories, additive manufacturing, and practical product design. We build products for real-world use — from precision rifle accessories to farm, ranch, shop, office, and custom-manufactured solutions.
KMRNL is pronounced “Kernel,” representing something central, essential, and functional at the core. That idea drives how we build: start with the problem, design around real use, and manufacture a solution that lasts.
Who We Are
KMRNL was founded by Joe Flores with support from Asia and built from hands-on experience in firearms, field use, repair, farming, and practical engineering. What started with firearm accessories has grown into a broader manufacturing company focused on solving everyday problems with useful, durable parts.
We are a small operation, but that is also our strength. Customers work directly with the people designing, testing, and manufacturing the products.

Firearm Accessories
KMRNL is an ATF Type 07 firearms manufacturer. Our firearm accessory line includes cartridge holders, magazine braces, bag riders, rail-mounted accessories, and purpose-built rifle components designed for hunters, shooters, and field use.
These products are built around practical needs: secure gear placement, improved support, reduced bulk, better fit, and reliable performance in real conditions.
Custom Manufacturing
KMRNL uses additive manufacturing to produce functional parts without the cost and delay of traditional tooling. Many of our products use reinforced polymers, threaded inserts, metal screws, mounting hardware, embedded components, and field-tested design features to improve strength, fit, and service life.
We do not focus on making “printed parts.” We focus on manufacturing working solutions.
Farm, Ranch, Shop & Utility Products
KMRNL also develops practical products for farms, ranches, shops, workspaces, equipment repairs, and everyday use. This includes brackets, holders, mounts, repair parts, desk accessories, laptop stands, under-desk mounts, fixtures, and other functional parts designed from real problems.
Government & Defense Contracting
KMRNL is actively pursuing government and defense contracting opportunities, including Department of Defense and Department of War-related work. Our focus is practical manufacturing, field-use parts, firearm accessory components, additive manufacturing, payload-related product development, and small-batch production for mission-driven applications.
KMRNL has submitted for UAV payload-related contracting opportunities and continues to develop capabilities aligned with practical engineering, small business manufacturing, and real operational needs.
