The KMRNL Egg Divider divides the interior of the Little Giant Deluxe Styrofoam Incubator into four organized sections while maintaining open airflow throughout the incubation chamber.

This divider was designed around the Little Giant Deluxe Incubator with two viewing windows and a center mounted fan and heating assembly inside the Styrofoam lid.

The open honeycomb walls allow heated air and humidity to move between sections. A raised point at the center of the divider is positioned beneath the incubator fan and is designed to help guide circulating air outward toward each section.

Why It Exists

The Little Giant Deluxe Incubator provides one large open incubation area. While this provides flexibility, it can make it difficult to keep different eggs or hatch groups separated and identified.

Solid dividers can separate the incubation area, but they may also restrict the movement of warm air and humidity.

Design Details

Raised Center Airflow Point

The Little Giant Deluxe Incubator places its circulation fan and heating components near the center of the Styrofoam lid.

The KMRNL divider includes a raised point at the center intersection. This point is positioned beneath the center mounted airflow source and is designed to help divide and guide circulating air outward toward the four sections.

The center point is not a powered component and does not replace the incubator fan, heating element, thermostat, ventilation system, or humidity controls.

Ventilated Honeycomb Walls

Each divider panel uses an open honeycomb pattern instead of a solid wall.

The openings allow warm air and humidity to move between sections while still providing a visible boundary between egg groups.

Openings along the lower edge also help prevent the divider from creating a complete seal against the incubator floor.

Four Section Organization

The divider creates four separate areas within the incubator. These sections may be used to organize eggs by:

Incubator Compatibility

This product is not advertised as a universal incubator divider. It may not fit other Little Giant models, plastic incubators, cabinet incubators, or incubators with different interior dimensions.

Installation

1. Disconnect the incubator from electrical power.
2. Remove all eggs, chicks, trays, and loose accessories.
3. Connect the divider panels at the center intersection.
4. Place the assembled divider inside the incubator.
5. Position the raised center point beneath the center mounted fan and heating assembly.
6. Confirm that the outside ends of the divider sit correctly against the incubator walls.
7. Install the incubator lid and check clearance above the center point.
8. Confirm that the divider does not contact the fan, heating element, thermostat, wiring, lid, or other electrical components.
9. Add eggs back.
10. Operate the incubator and confirm stable temperatures.

Temperature should be checked in multiple sections after installation. Egg placement, water trays, thermometers, and other accessories can affect circulation.

Care and Cleaning

Remove the divider from the incubator before cleaning.

Wash using warm water, mild dish soap, and a soft cloth or soft brush. Rinse thoroughly and allow all components to dry completely before reinstalling them.

Do not place the divider in a dishwasher or expose it to boiling water, open flame, harsh solvents, or abrasive cleaning tools.

This product is an organizational divider. It does not regulate temperature, humidity, ventilation, or egg turning.

Continue following the incubator manufacturer’s instructions for temperature, humidity, ventilation, egg turning, lockdown, and hatch monitoring.

Confirm that temperatures remain stable throughout all four sections before placing valuable eggs inside the incubator.

Monitor chicks closely during hatch. Remove the divider if chicks attempt to climb through the ventilation openings or become caught against any part of the divider.
