Why KMRNL Is Rebranding: From Accessories to American Engineering

KMRNL started with a simple goal: build practical gear that solves real problems.

What began as a small product line focused on rifle accessories has continued to grow into something bigger. Over time, our work has expanded beyond one category and into a broader mission centered around engineering, manufacturing, product development, and real world problem solving.

That is why KMRNL is rebranding.

We are not moving away from the products that built this company. Firearm accessories are still a major part of who we are, and we will continue developing purpose built equipment for precision rifles, field use, and serious shooters.

Products like our Sidewinder cartridge holders, bag riders, and magazine braces are still core to the KMRNL lineup. But KMRNL is no longer only about one product category.

We are building an American engineering and manufacturing company.

Practical Engineering for Real Problems

KMRNL is focused on practical engineering. That means we look at a real problem, design a solution, prototype it, test it, improve it, and build it into a finished product.

Sometimes that problem is on a rifle.

Sometimes it is in a greenhouse.

Sometimes it is in a shop, office, farm, ranch, or small business.

The goal is the same every time: create a product that makes the job easier, stronger, cleaner, or more efficient.

Our direction is simple. We want to build products that work.

Built in Davenport, Washington

KMRNL is based in Davenport, Washington. We are a small shop, but we are building with a serious purpose.

Being small gives us the ability to move fast, test ideas quickly, and stay close to the work. We are not guessing from behind a desk. We are designing, fitting, testing, adjusting, and improving products hands on.

That is an important part of the KMRNL identity.

We are not trying to become another generic accessory brand. We are building around real use cases, real equipment, and real people who need dependable solutions.

Expanding Beyond Firearm Accessories

KMRNL will continue to support shooters, hunters, law enforcement, military users, and precision rifle owners. That part of the company is not going away.

At the same time, we are expanding into additional categories, including custom engineering, farm and ranch products, greenhouse solutions, shop equipment, office organization, and purpose built specialty components.

This expansion is already happening. We have been developing new products outside the firearm space, including practical solutions for small farms and greenhouse operators.

One example is a manual gearbox drill adapter designed to help roll greenhouse sidewalls up and down more efficiently.

That is the type of problem KMRNL is built to solve.

Simple idea. Practical design. Useful product.

Precision Additive Manufacturing

As part of the rebrand, we are also changing the way we talk about how our products are made.

KMRNL uses precision additive manufacturing as part of our production process. This allows us to design complex parts, test fitment quickly, reduce unnecessary weight, and build products around specific equipment instead of forcing customers to use generic parts.

This is not about making cheap parts.

It is about using modern manufacturing tools to build functional, field ready products with purpose driven design.

Every product starts with a problem. Then we work through the design, material selection, hardware, fitment, testing, and final production.

The Mission Moving Forward

The future of KMRNL is bigger than one product line.

Our mission is to build practical, American made products that support shooters, workers, small businesses, farms, ranches, and anyone who needs a better solution to a real world problem.

KMRNL will continue to grow as an engineering and manufacturing company. The website, product categories, branding, and messaging will continue to evolve as we move into this next stage.

We are proud of where KMRNL started.

We are even more focused on where it is going.

Practical engineering. American manufacturing. Built in Davenport, Washington.

That is the new direction of KMRNL.
