V2.1 or V4.1? Choosing Your KMRNL Bag Rider

Shopping for a bag rider for your Sig Sauer Cross? The version number tells only part of the story. The KMRNL V2.1 and V4.1 have different profiles, so the right choice starts with understanding the part you are buying and checking it against your rifle configuration.

Here is a closer look at both models, using photos of our own products.

Meet the V2.1

The V2.1 Bag Rider has a continuous V-bottom profile from front to back. It is the non-ramped option in this comparison. That distinction matters: a V-shaped cross-section does not mean the part has a front-to-back incline.

If you are comparing product photos, look at more than the side view. The gallery on the product page includes additional angles so you can see the bottom profile and overall shape before ordering.

Meet the V4.1

The KMRNL V4.1 has a different profile from the V2.1.

The V4.1 Bag Rider combines a V-hull bottom with a ramped profile. It is a separate design choice within our lineup, rather than simply a new name for the V2.1.

Check these details before ordering

  • The exact model: V2, V2.1, V4, and V4.1 are distinct listings. Match the name in your cart to the product you intended to choose.
  • Your rifle configuration: Note the specific Cross model and any aftermarket stock or chassis changes.
  • The product gallery: Review the actual part from several angles, including its mounting area and bottom profile.
  • The current listing: Check fitment notes, available options, price, and availability on the product page before purchasing.

Not sure which one fits?

Send us the name of the bag rider you are considering, your exact rifle model, and a clear photo of the relevant stock area. That gives us something specific to review and helps avoid ordering the wrong part.
